FontSelector is a web design tool to aid in selecting font characteristics from among the plehtora of fonts on the average PC.
Using a very intuitive user interface, a given block of text may be
viewed quickly and easily in any font face, size, and characteristics
that the user has available to them.

History of FontSelector
FontSelector
was derived out of a need felt while developing graphics for the web.
Few inexpensive graphics programs allow you to dynamically change a
block of text between different font faces in a simple way. Once text
is laid on a background, it's pretty much set. You have to cut or hide
the layer, make new text and apply it, etc.
User Interface to FontSelector
FontSelector
was developed as a purpose driven solution to this problem. Using the
interface shown above, you can dynamically change both the text, the
font, the font size and characteristics. After each change, the output
is dynamically updated, giving the web developer instant feedback on
what the text would look like in the given font.
